When using electric steam furnaces, it is inevitable to encounter problems such as sudden stoppage of water injection into the equipment. This problem is quite common. To solve it, first of all, we need to find the reasons. There are many reasons, but there are roughly two types: one is failure without water injection, and the other is failure without water injection due to improper operation. Then, we need to check where the problem is, and then solve it.
1. Check the pump pressure and motor speed of the electric heating boiler, repair the pump or replace the motor (the pump motor power is not less than 550W).
2. Check whether the connection between the water level electrode and the steam boiler shell is correct, whether the end point is rusty, and what if the generator does not inject water? Let it work properly.
3. Check whether the electric steam boiler water pump motor has power supply or phase loss.
4. Check whether the water pump relay has power to make it work properly. There is no output power from the circuit board to the relay coil. Replace the circuit board.
For generators that use float level controllers for water injection, in addition to checking the power supply, the automatic water injection of steam boilers should also check whether the low water level contacts of the float level controller are corroded or inversely connected, and they are normal after repair.
After solving the problem of not injecting water into this equipment, we should also check whether there are other problems with the electric steam furnace, especially the internal parts of this equipment. Once a component is found to be seriously aged or worn, it should be immediately replaced to prevent damage to the entire equipment and delay our work progress.
Standard operating procedures for electric steam furnaces
To prevent human operation accidents and ensure the expected use of electric heating steam boilers, operators should use and clean them in accordance with this procedure. The standard operating procedures for the equipment are described in detail below:
Before opening, ensure that the valve position is correct and that the water supply and power supply are normal.
2. Press the power switch, the power indicator lights up, and the controller gives an alarm (boiler water shortage). The water pump starts to operate. After the water is replenished to the ultra-low water level, the controller stops giving an alarm, and the operation indicator lights up. The water pump stops when the water is automatically replenished to the high water level.
When the water is replenished to the medium level and the furnace pressure is low, the electric heating pipe will automatically start heating.
"When the pressure of the electric heating steam boiler reaches the set value, the heating will automatically stop. At this time, the steam valve can be opened to use steam.".
When using steam, heating will automatically start when the pressure in the furnace drops to the lower pressure limit setting.
6. When using steam, the water level in the furnace continuously decreases. When the water level drops to a low level, start the water pump to replenish water to the furnace until the high level is reached.
"When the water level is lower than the low water level and the water supply system is not working properly, after 10 seconds, the electric heating pipe stops heating. If the water level continues to fall below the ultra-low water level electrode, the controller will alarm and shut down the boiler for protection.".
8. Shutdown: After the completion of the electric steam boiler, press the "power" switch to turn off the power supply, the power indicator light goes out, and the main power switch is turned off. When the pointer on the pressure gauge drops to 0.15~0.1MPa, open the blowdown valve for blowdown, and close the inlet valve. It is also important to note that when the electric steam boiler finds water returning, it should be promptly removed from the check valve to remove scale and impurities inside. When the check valve is shaken, the inner baffle can move freely, The seal is good, and if it cannot be cleaned, it should be replaced.
